Since its foundation in 1933, OMRON has been a pioneer in creating innovation driven by social needs and has contributed to society by resolving social issues through our businesses. The unifying and the driving force behind our growth is Our Mission, defined by our founder, Kazuma Tateishi, which inspires us “to improve lives and contribute to a better society.” Even today, the venture spirit embodied in this Mission is inherited by employees around the world as the OMRON Principles.
Currently, OMRON is pursuing sustainable growth through our long-term vision, “Shaping the Future 2030 (SF2030),” with goals set for 2030, under the principle “To continue to create innovation driven by social needs through automation to empower people.” The three social challenges OMRON aims to address under SF2030 are, “achievement of carbon neutrality,” “realization of a digital society,” and “extension of healthy life expectancies.” To ensure the realization of this vision, we launched our medium-term roadmap “SF 2nd Stage” in fiscal year 2026.
In “SF 2nd Stage,” we will further refine devices born from our core technology “Sensing & Control + Think,” and deliver new values to customers’ worksites and daily lives through “GEMBA DX (on-site digital transformation),” OMRON’s unique prowess that utilizes high-quality data obtained from those devices. At the same time, we will ensure growth by strengthening execution capabilities from both “offense” and “defense” perspectives: concentrated investment in focus businesses and the restructuring of our business portfolio.
OMRON will continue to strive to achieve sustainable growth and enhance corporate value by contributing to resolving social issues and improving people’s lives through our businesses. We sincerely ask for your continued support.
