The Tateisi Science and Technology Foundation was established in 1990, funded by OMRON shares held by company founder Kazuma Tateisi and then-chairman Takao Tateisi and cash contributions by the company.
Since then, the Foundation has supported research activities that promote human-machine harmony in the fields of electronics and information engineering, and implemented support and award programs to contribute to realizing the truly optimized society from technology innovation and human-centric aspects.
In support of the idea of the Foundation, OMRON Group provides human resource and donations to ensure its stable and continuous operation.
