People around the world are dying from lung disorders and cardiovascular disease. Doctors required continuous up-to-date medical training in order to provide appropriate individual treatment, but they were extremely busy every day and could not learn efficiently. Therefore, we developed “OMRON Academy Online,” an educational support system for medical professionals that can improve the learning efficiency of doctors while helping them provide appropriate treatment suited to the patient. With the cooperation of three medical associations, it was extremely difficult to incorporate their respectively different perspectives and guidelines, but it was launched in 2019 following complex adjustments and coordination. Over 3,000 doctors are now using this system.
