OMRON Corporation (HQ: Shimogyo-Ku, Kyoto. President and CEO: Junta Tsujinaga) announced today that it has received an "A-" rating for climate change and a "B" rating for water security in a survey conducted by CDP, an international non-profit organization that provides environmental information disclosure systems.

CDP evaluates companies on a scale from A to D- based on information disclosed through its platform by more than 22100 companies worldwide, assessing best practices in environmental leadership such as the comprehensiveness of information disclosure, awareness and management of environmental risks, and the setting of ambitious and meaningful targets.

Since its founding, OMRON has created social value through its business activities and has contributed to the development of society. In the environmental field as well, the company is actively working on global social issues such as climate change and resource circulation to realize its corporate philosophy of "creating a better society."
In its current long-term vision "Shaping the Future 2030 (SF2030)," one of the key sustainability challenges set is "reducing environmental impact through the realization of a decarbonized, circular economy."
