OMRON Receives Top 100 Global Innovators 2025- Ranking among the top 100 organizations leading innovation in intellectual property for the ninth consecutive year -
- March 13, 2025
OMRON Corporation announced today that it has been selected as one of the Top 100 Global Innovators 2025 by Clarivate, ranking among the top 100 organizations leading innovation in intellectual property. This is the tenth award in ninth consecutive years.
Clarivate selects the Top 100 Global Innovators based on their proprietary patent data. This global information service firm analyzes intellectual property trends using an independent index in order to identify the world's most innovative corporations and research institutions, thereafter recognizing them for their outstanding traits. The evaluation of this award is based on organizations that have over 100 granted inventions during the past five years, focusing on the proportion and level of international inventions (ideas patented in more than one country or region). It then scores inventions on four factors: Influence, Success, Investment, and Technical Distinctiveness. Among these criteria, OMRON was rated particularly high for Influence.
