Obituary: Notification of the Passing of Nobuo Tateishi, Former Chairman and Representative Director of OMRON

Nobuo Tateishi, former Chairman and Representative Director of OMRON, passed away at 1:35 pm on Tuesday, April 12th, 2022, due to renal failure. OMRON would like to express its sincere appreciation for the support and friendship extended to him during his lifetime.
In accordance with the wishes of the deceased, the wake and funeral ceremonies (Chief mourner: Hirohisa Tateishi) were held by close family members only, and this announcement is made after the memorial service.
Please note that the Tateishi family respectfully requests mourners to refrain from making condolatory calls, offers of incense money, funeral offerings, and floral tributes.

He is an honorary Doctor of Culture at Doshisha University. He has been an advisory professor at Nankai University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Fudan University in China.
In 2007, he received the Taylor Key Award from the Society for the Advancement of Management, which is often called the 窶廸obel Prize for Management窶.
