Participation in "IP OPEN ACCESS DECLARATION AGAINST COVID-19"

OMRON Corporation announced today that it has joined "IP OPEN ACCESS DECLARATION AGAINST COVID-19," a collective effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

In accordance with the declaration, without seeking compensation, OMRON will not assert any patent, utility model, design or copyright during the time of this crisis, against any activities whose purpose is stopping the spread of COVID-19, including diagnosis, prevention, containment and treatment. This effort leads to the rapid development and manufacture of therapeutic drugs, vaccines, medical devices, infection control products.

OMRON is making various efforts to solve the social issues caused by the global spread of COVID-19. In cooperation with governments and related parties, OMRON will continue our efforts to contribute to an early end to the spread of COVID-19.
