OMRON Corporation (HQ: Shimogyo-Ku, Kyoto. President and CEO: Junta Tsujinaga) announced today that it has revised the "OMRON Human Rights Policy," which was established in 2022, to reflect global developments in the human rights landscape, recent regulatory advancements, and changes in the company's business environment.
Human Rights Policy

OMRON recognizes respect for human rights as a fundamental responsibility across all aspects of its business activities, grounded in its corporate philosophy of "Respect for Humanity."
This revision is intended to further clarify its approach and initiatives related to human rights, while strengthening the effectiveness of "Respect for Human Rights in the Value Chain," a key sustainability priority within OMRON's Long-term Vision, "Shaping the Future 2030."
笆Key Revisions
1) Commitment to Respecting Human Rights
OMRON has explicitly stated its commitment to respecting, to the greatest extent possible, internationally recognized human rights principles.
2) Human Rights Issues That OMRON Considers Important
Based on the results of a human rights impact assessment that took into account current social trends and the company's business environment, it clarified "Freedom of Association" and "Responsible Mineral Sourcing" as material human rights issues that the company should address.
3) Remediation
OMRON clarified the approach to remediation. Where an adverse human rights impact within the value chain is found to be connected to its business activities through a business relationship, it will endeavor to cooperate toward corrective action through continued dialogue with its business partners.
OMRON seeks understanding of this policy from all business partners engaged through its corporate activities. Through ongoing dialogue and appropriate engagement, OMRON will promote respect for human rights across the entire value chain, with the aim of harmonizing sustainable societal development with the growth of its own business.
