- March 22, 2024
OMRON Corporation (HQ: Shimogyo-Ku, Kyoto. President and CEO: Junta Tsujinaga) announced today that it has been selected for the “Nadeshiko Brand 2024” designation, a joint initiative by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) of Japan and the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) to select and publicize enterprises that encourage women's success in the workplace.
The Nadeshiko Brand is an initiative that recognizes the outstanding efforts of TSE-listed companies in encouraging women’s empowerment in the workplace with an emphasis on improving corporate value in medium to long term, thereby raising their appeal to investors. In this fiscal year, the perspective of "support for co-working and co-parenting" has been newly added to the evaluation targets.
OMRON has been recognized for its management's commitment to promoting D & I, its achievements in promoting women's participation and supporting men's childcare leave, and its proactive disclosure of human capital. As one of the most notable companies, OMRON’s case study features on METI Website.
In its long-term vision, SF2030, the OMRON Group stated that employee diversity is the driving force to achieve innovation driven by social needs and create a better society. To this end, we strive to employ talented people in various fields regardless of nationality or gender.
