OMRON Corporation (Head Office: Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto; President and CEO: Junta Tsujinaga; hereinafter "OMRON") hereby announces that it has transferred all its stake (the "Shares") of OMRON Automotive Electronics Italy S.r.l. (hereinafter "OBI") held by OMRON to FairCap Holding 8 GmbH (an entity part of the FairCap Group | Head Office: Munich, Germany; Managing Partners and Co-founders: Jasper Delekat / Max Koch-Heintzeler; hereinafter "FairCap"). The transfer of Shares to FairCap was completed on November 28, 2025.
OBI is engaged in the manufacturing and sale of automotive relays and relay modules. FairCap, the acquirer of the Shares, has extensive experience in the management improvement of small and medium-sized companies, and has insights into the automotive sector gained through its investments. It also has an office in Italy where local members provide investment and management support to local companies. OBI has production capacity in electronic components and an established customer base in the automotive industry. The transfer of all the Shares from OMRON to FairCap, is expected to generate significant synergies that will drive future business growth for OBI. As part of this strategic sale, OBI has been rebranded as OBITEC S.r.l. ("OBITEC"), effective as of 1 December 2025.
