OMRON Healthcare Philippines Achieves Milestone with Validation of HEM-7156 Digital Blood Pressure Monitor by PSH

OMRON Healthcare Philippines is proud to announce a significant milestone. OMRON HEM-7156 digital blood pressure monitor has been validated by the Philippines Society of Hypertension (PSH), marking a pivotal moment in OMRON Healthcare's commitment to managing hypertension in the Philippines.

The PSH, renowned for its dedication to enhancing hypertension research and treatment, conducted a rigorous evaluation of the HEM-7156 digital blood pressure monitor to ensure its clinical applicability across diverse populations. This validation underscores the device's reliability and suitability for widespread use in monitoring blood pressure levels, a critical component in hypertension management.

The announcement of the validation took place at the Philippine Lipid and Atherosclerosis Society (PLAS) and the Philippine Society of Hypertension (PSH) Convention, a premier event held from Feb 21 to 23, 2024. This three-day convention showcased significant advancements in cardiovascular disease management and served as a platform for sharing groundbreaking research and innovations.

A highlight of the convention was the Lunch Symposium, where the validation results of the HEM-7156 model were prominently featured. Dr. Dolores Bonzon, President of PSH, emphasized the importance of this joint project in her opening remarks. Dr. Raymond Oliva shared insights into the intricacies of the validation study, while Dr. Benjamin Balmores moderated a lively Q&A session, drawing attention to the significance of blood pressure monitoring in hypertension prevention and control.

Team OMRON also set up an interactive booth at the convention, providing a platform for meaningful engagements with over 400 attending doctors. The booth showcased various OMRON products, with a special focus on the HEM-7530T model, allowing doctors to gain a comprehensive understanding of its features and benefits. Notably, sales of OMRON BP Monitors, particularly the HEM-7156 and HEM-7120 models, were successful during the convention.
