OMRON Automation India – Mumbai Runs the Extra Mile for Women's Empowerment

In a vibrant display of commitment, the OMRON Automation India - Mumbai team recently laced up their running shoes to participate in the HRX Pink Marathon in Mumbai. This marathon wasn't just about conquering kilometres, it was a powerful stride towards promoting the spirit of womanhood and raising awareness for women's health, safety, and education.

With a passion for equity and overall fitness, dedicated employees enthusiastically participated in the 3k, 5k, and 10k runs.

The OMRON Mumbai team's stellar performance was not only a testament to their physical prowess but also to their unwavering commitment to a cause. Among the notable finishers were:

• Shamil Saleem: Completed the 10k run in an impressive 55 minutes, securing the top spot in the Mumbai team.

• Sameer Gandhi: Crossed the finish line in 59 minutes during the challenging 10k run.

• Shaheena Tambe: Showed remarkable strength, completing the 10k run in 1 hour and 3 minutes, earning the title of the Top Female in the 41-59 age group.

 
The HRX Pink Marathon, dedicated to celebrating the spirit of womanhood, resonates deeply with OMRON's values. This event, India’s largest Night Run platform supporting women, is not just a run but a movement, that is open to both male and female participants.
