Achieving Substantial Improvements in QCD Indices and Delivering the Value of OMS's Production Innovation internally & externally

While demands for manufacturing quality are increasing in China, high-mix low-volume production is accelerating at factories, making on-site quality control increasingly more difficult. With the aim of making rapid progress in automation by ascertaining the quality requirements of customers and the current state of the Chinese manufacturing industry, we took on the challenge of introducing a quality management system that integrates the knowledge, experience and information of its operators with related technology, the automation of small and medium-scale production, and bolstering our capacity to improve by utilizing visualization tools. These challenges have substantially improved all QCD indicators, and at the same time, the value of production innovation undertaken by OMS has been recognized by various stakeholders including the Chinese government. OMS has consequently become a leader in the development of manufacturing sites throughout China.
