The Nadeshiko Brands is a significant endorsement for enhancing medium to long term corporate value and raising a company's appeal to investors. OMRON was highly recognized for its initiatives to promote women's participation in the workforce, which are based on the company's management's commitment to promoting D&I, as well as the uniqueness of its verification and information disclosure regarding human capital. In particular, the Nadeshiko Brands report notes that the company's "Women Leaders Circle" training program for managers and its executive compensation system that incorporates ESG evaluations are strengths that set OMRON apart from its competitors.

OMRON's human capital strategic vision under SF2030 is: "Inspired by the corporate philosophy of 'contributing to a better society,' the company and its employees will always choose each other and continue growing together." Pursuing this human capital strategic vision, we are implementing our human capital strategy globally with a long-term outlook, in order to enhance corporate value through sustained business growth.

Promoting further participation by women is one of our key management strategies, and we are taking various steps to increase the ratio of female managers globally and to develop next-generation management candidates for female managers. In addition, in Japan, we have established an environment in which employees who report pregnancy or submit birth notifications have their supervisors explain the system and confirm their intention to use it, as well as providing a consultation desk. As a result, the number of days of childcare leave/time off taken by male employees in Japan was more than two months on average for the second consecutive year from FY2022, and the take-up rate in FY2023 was 66%.

We aim to be a corporate group where diverse human resources can demonstrate their capabilities, individuality and thrive with a variety of ways of thinking. Going forward, we will continue to accelerate our efforts to further promote the active participation of women in the workforce, while fostering an awareness and culture in which diverse human resources can thrive, to enable growth of both individuals and the company.
