OMRON Corporation has announced a correction to the news release entitled 'OMRON Corporation Reports Earnings for the Third Quarter of Fiscal 2007 ', which it published via an independent news distribution agency at 15:30 (Japan time) on January 30, 2008.
The correction concerns a difference between the English translation and original Japanese text in the section of the release entitled '(3) Projected Results for the Fiscal Year Ending March 31, 2008 (April 1, 2007 - March 31, 2008)'.

"In this environment, the OMRON Group's net sales, which increased over the same period of the previous fiscal year in the first three quarters, are expected to remain firm in the fourth quarter. However, net sales are likely to fall short of previous projections for the full year as a result of lower-than-expected capital investment demand."
