In order to achieve carbon neutrality and net-zero targets in the corporate sector, the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions is being promoted in many countries. On the other hand, there is a growing trend toward offsetting emissions that are difficult to reduce through corporate efforts alone with carbon credits generated through emission reduction activities in other locations and it is expected to grow further.
