The PRIDE Index evaluates initiatives for sexual minorities, including LGBT, in the workplace across five indexes: policy, representation, inspiration, development, and engagement and empowerment. OMRON is particularly focused on promoting diversity that encourages the performance of diverse human resources. Part of these efforts is initiatives related to LGBT, such as program revisions to include same-sex partners in the definition of a spouse in human resource and welfare programs. It is thought that these initiatives led to receiving the highest evaluation.
