Technology that processes important visual information quickly and efficiently
Vision sensing technology can substitute for and even surpass human vision. OMRON is currently involved in three types of vision sensing. "OKAO Vision" can detect faces within an image and match them against faces stored in a database with high accuracy; "Silhouette Vision" recognizes solid objects based on their 3D outline; "Pattern Vision" recognizes characters and symbols such as numbers and letters.
