Inclusion in internationally renowned SRI indexes

Highly recognized for the company’s proactive CSR practices, OMRON has been included in one of the international SRI indexes※1 named the Morningstar SRI Index※2. Since fiscal 2010, OMRON has also been listed in the Dow Jones Sustainability Asia Pacific Index※3 (DJSI Asia Pacific).

Moreover, OMRON has been included in several SRI and eco-friendly funds※4, such as the Corporate Governance Fund set up by Japan’s Pension Association.

※1 SRI indexes refer to indices for socially responsible investment, whose key criteria for investment decisions include CSR commitment as well as financial performance.

※2 Morningstar SRI Index is a stock price index that tracks the share performance of selected Japanese companies based on their commitment to CSR.

※3 The Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes (DJSI) are internationally renowned indices for socially responsible investing (SRI). DJSI was jointly developed by Dow Jones of the U.S.A. and Sustainable Asset Management (SAM) of Switzerland. DJSI family contains a number of main indexes based on different regions of the world. DJSI Asia Pacific lists the selected sustainability leaders in the Asia Pacific region.
