Protecting Residents from Natural Disaster

The number of natural disasters in Japan has almost doubled in the last 20 years. In the event of a disaster, local government officials rush to the disaster site to confirm the situation as the danger approaches. Measures against natural disasters are necessary, but the funding required for new undertakings is insufficient. Therefore, the team thought it was a pressing matter and took action to secure funding from local governments and reinforce disaster countermeasures in order to protect residents and staff from disasters. We want to save the lives lost in a disaster. With that in mind, this is an initiative that contributes to natural disaster mitigation in Japan, starting with giving serious consideration to what value OMRON provides and local governments gaining the trust and recognition of OMRON as a partner.
