Hospitals play a major role in keeping our societies safe and thriving. Any medical practice is centered around instruments which form the backbone of the hospitals. Medical instruments require special care, and they must always be sterilized before operating on patients. Sterilization is quite a tedious task as it involves moving around instrument trolleys around the hospital which leaves the staff indulged in unproductive and injury prone activities.

OMRON team in Australia took note of this redundant practice and partnered with Atherton to come up with an innovative solution that will encourage safe sterilization of medical instruments with automation.
