OMRON will help reduce levels of mercury, which is poisonous to humans and harmful to the global environment, by promoting the spread of digital thermometers and digital blood pressure monitors across the world.

FY2017 Overview

OMRON continued to encourage the replacement of mercury thermometers and blood pressure monitors with digital units. In fiscal 2017, the shift to digital thermometers and digital blood pressure monitors brought about a reduction in mercury of 51 tons per year.
