Scene 2: Your face can replace a membership card.

: A man who stops by a rental video shop realizes that he forgot to bring his membership card. But since his facial image is stored in the shop's database, it's no problem. He simply has the shopkeeper take a picture of his face and verify it against the pre-registered image stored in the database. As a result, he can still rent the video he wanted.

It's a very convenient service for people who have lots of membership cards and often forget to carry them around.

A face recognition-based authentication system uses facial images to verify the identity of an individual. OMRON's OKAO Vision can be implemented in a variety of PC operating systems, but it also can be incorporated into non-PC equipment, such as household appliances or mobile terminals.
