Light Wave Control Devices: MLAs and SPICA
Microphotonics refers to the control of light waves through the miniaturization and integration of various optical functional elements. OMRON develops light wave control devices such as micro lens arrays (MLAs) for bright projector and cellular phone display and stacked polymer optical IC/advanced (SPICA) technology, which reduces the cost of optical communication devices.
