The site of Omron Industrial Automation Japan has been ranked first in the overall evaluation category and the site of Omron Electronic Components Japan has been ranked first in its industry by Japan Brand Strategy, Inc., Tokyo, Japan. Corporate sites designed for other companies were ranked for contribution to business, and they were also ranked by users.
The Omron IA Japan site (http://www.fa.omron.co.jp) was ranked first in the FA and Control Components industry and also first in the overall evaluation category. This makes the 4th straight year since 2007 that the site has achieved the No. 1 position.
One of the evaluation points is the degree of satisfying the needs of site users. It is thought that the MyPage feature of the IA site and the wide range of product information and application examples were highly evaluated. Continuous improvements based on feedback from customers were instrumental in this high evaluation.
The Electronic Components site (http://www.omron.co.jp/ecb/) was ranked first in the electronic components and materials industry, making it the 2nd year in a row that this site has achieved No. 1 in their industry. They finished in 10th place in the overall evaluation category.
This site places top priority on providing busy engineers with quick access to the pages containing the information they require. Efforts to achieve this include a very simple site structure. Measures have also been taken to ensure that this site will be displayed at the top of search results for search engines such as Yahoo and Goggle. We believe we received high evaluation from many repeaters.
