On-the-job training supported by in-house training and self-education support programs
OMRON's employee skill development system centers on on-the-job training (OJT). Complementing the system are in-house training and self-education support programs. To evaluate the results and effectiveness of employee education, training and skill development programs, OMRON conducts a questionnaire survey for those who attended the courses.
Faced with the rapid aging of society, a special type of training called "New Life Training" is provided for all employees over 59, helping them design a post-retirement lifestyle. As for education programs not directly related to work, career development support training is provided for all employees when they reach the age of 30, 35 and 53, as well as for general staff at age 45, providing them with an opportunity to review their career path and objectives.
