Basic approach and related initiatives

OMRON's production lines handle a comparatively small number of dangerous and harmful tasks. So far, only a few serious industrial accidents involving the suspension of operation have been reported. The Health Management Center functions as a core to promote and maintain employee health by providing health guidance to each and every employee aimed at preventing lifestyle-related diseases and other illnesses.
Mental health counseling program developed from fiscal 2006

No serious industrial accidents occurred in fiscal 2006, and OMRON will continue in its efforts to provide thorough safety education in the future. In addition, a program that was implemented in fiscal 2005 to improve lifestyle habits has been deployed company-wide, and a mental health counseling program is currently under development.
