North America Area Meeting

OMRON emphasizes mutual communication between top executives and employees, and continually provides opportunities for interaction.

On the occasion of the establishment of the new OMRON Principles, Chairman Tateishi and President Sakuta visited China, Southeast Asia, North America, and Europe in addition to Japan so that the background and thoughts concerning the revision of the OMRON Principles would quickly and thoroughly penetrate worldwide. The chairman and president provided direct explanations to employees and responded to questions with easy-to-understand answers.

In addition, a "DNA Salon" was held by Chairman Tateishi and "SAKUTA's Free Talk" was held by President Sakuta to promote mutual communication between top executives and employees. These direct communication activities helped employees to better understand top management's thinking on business and work, and increased employee satisfaction with the company.
