Aiming for stakeholder-oriented management based on the OMRON Motto and Principles

OMRON clearly states in its corporate motto and principles its intention to promote the growth of the company in order to contribute to the sustained development of society. In other words, OMRON believes that individual employees’ understanding and implementation of the OMRON Principles will lead to the fulfillment of its CSR.

Living up to the spirit of its motto and core value, OMRON aims to implement management practices that emphasize stakeholder engagement based on sincere dialogue and mutual trust as stipulated in its Management Commitments.

Basic Policy for CSR Activities

In conformance with the Management Commitments within the OMRON Principles, OMRON established its basic policy revolving around three pillars for implementing CSR activities.

    Continuously offer advanced technologies, high-quality products and services by stimulating innovation driven by social needs.
  • Show a commitment to addressing societal issues as a concerned party.
    Address issues such as human rights, environment, diversity and community relations in a way that draws on OMRON's distinctive strengths.
  • Always demonstrate fairness and integrity in the promotion of corporate activities.
    Promote more transparent corporate activities that maintain fairness and integrity not only through strict compliance with laws, regulations and social rules but also through increased accountability.

CSR framework based on triple bottom line

OMRON implements CSR activities built on its own CSR framework. The framework consists of activities to address issues related to economy, society, and environment, a so-called "triple bottom line," on top of the fundamentals such as corporate governance and internal controls.
