Basic Policies
OMRON strives to reduce the amount of containers and packaging materials for products, such as individual product boxes, trays, and sticks.
FY2011 Overview
In Japan, usage of containers and packaging materials decreased 10% compared to fiscal 2010, due mainly to the reduced production. Overseas, however, usage of containers and packaging materials increased 33%. This increase is broken down to a 12% increase due to the establishment of new production sites, and a 21% increase due to increased production volume at existing sites.
